Receipt Scanner Privacy Policy

Summary. Receipt photos, OCR text, receipt fields, notes, tags, and generated PDFs are stored in the app's private storage for the receipt-management features. Receipt Scanner does not sell personal data and does not intentionally send receipt content to advertising, analytics, or attribution providers. The app does transmit limited advertising, app-activity, device, diagnostic, and attribution data as described below.

1. Who is responsible for the app

This policy applies to the Receipt Scanner Android application and its support website. Privacy questions and data requests can be submitted to Perezcrystal464@gmail.com. The public support website is rnciepevse.com.

2. Data we process

3. Permissions

Camera: used only when you choose to scan a receipt.
Internet and network state: used for advertising, consent, analytics, attribution, and related network operations.
Advertising ID: declared for advertising and measurement. Android lets you reset or delete this identifier in device settings.

4. Service providers and data sharing

We disclose the limited data described above to service providers only for app functionality, analytics, advertising, attribution, diagnostics, security, and legal compliance. These providers process data under their own terms:

Google: AdMob, UMP, Firebase Analytics, Google Play Install Referrer, ML Kit, and Android document scanning. See Google Privacy Policy.
DataEye: product, advertising, crash, and performance analytics. See DataEye Policy Center.
AppsFlyer: installation attribution, campaign measurement, and advertising revenue measurement. See AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.

5. Advertising choices and consent

Where required, Google UMP presents a consent message before the app requests ads. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized, or ad requests may be restricted. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, the app displays Privacy choices in Settings so you can review or change available choices. After a change, the app clears cached ads before making further ad requests. You can also reset or delete the Advertising ID through Android settings.

6. Data retention and deletion

You can delete an individual saved receipt from its detail screen; this removes its database record and the receipt image stored for that record. You can also clear the app's storage or uninstall the app to remove app-private receipt data from the device.
Android device-backup features may back up and later restore eligible app data when backup is enabled for your device and Google account. Those backups are controlled through Android and your Google account settings.
Temporary scan files may remain in app cache until Android or the app clears them. Generated PDFs remain in app-private storage until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled, while copies you export are controlled by the destination you selected.
Analytics, advertising, consent, and attribution providers retain transmitted data according to their own policies and the applicable service configuration.

The app does not provide user accounts. To request access to or deletion of data associated with the app's analytics systems, email Perezcrystal464@gmail.com with enough information to understand the request. We may need to verify the request and may be unable to identify data that is not linked to a name, email address, or account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

7. Security

Receipt content is stored in Android app-private storage. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, limit analytics payloads to operational fields rather than receipt content, restrict raw attribution fields to an approved list, and use HTTPS endpoints for network services under our control. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may exercise applicable rights through the contact address above. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

9. International processing

Service providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, the responsible provider or developer uses legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children's privacy

Receipt Scanner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us so the matter can be reviewed. The app's Google Play target-audience and advertising settings must remain consistent with this statement.

11. Support website

When you visit rnciepevse.com, the hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security logs to deliver and protect the website.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date and will be posted at rnciepevse.com/privacy.html. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.
